What cookie and icing flavors do you offer?
Cookies come in two different flavors: vanilla and chocolate. The cookies may be iced with plain or lemon frosting.
What flavor combinations do you recommend?
The most popular combinations are a vanilla cookie with lemon icing, or a chocolate cookie with plain icing. Plain icing works well on both types of cookies, and children tend to prefer our plain icing over our flavored icing.
What ingredients are used in your cookies?
We use high-quality, fresh ingredients to make each cookie. Our cookies contain butter, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, eggs, and flour. Additionally, our chocolate cookies contain cocoa powder and a small amount of coffee.
The icing contains powdered sugar, meringue powder, fresh-squeezed lemon juice, and artificial colors. Occasionally, the cookies are also decorated with small amounts of fondant accents, sugar pearls, and luster dust.
What allergy precautions should I be aware of?
The cookies contain ingredients with egg and dairy products. Although the cookies do not contain nuts, we cannot guarantee the cookies are completely nut-free as they are produced in a kitchen where nuts are used. Unfortunately, we do not recommend that individuals with any type of food allergies consume our cookies.
Are your cookies kosher or organic?
Our cookies are not certified either kosher or organic at this time.
Do you make vegan/gluten-free/low-sugar cookies?
At this time, we do not have special recipes to accommodate these dietary restrictions. However, if you are interested in such products, please e-mail us at

Where are your cookies baked and decorated?
Our cookies are baked and decorated in a licensed and inspected kitchen facility in Alhambra. To ensure your safety, the appropriate safety precautions are followed when handling the cookies, and there is a certified Food Protection Manager in the kitchen at all times. Since many schools no longer allow children to bring home-baked food items to share with classmates, Sabrina's Sweetery can offer you the quality taste of a home-baked, hand-crafted cookie that is specially decorated to celebrate your event, that will still comply with school policies.
What icing colors do you offer and/or suggest?
For our custom cookie orders, virtually any colors are available.
Please note that when eating cookies where the primary frosting colors are intense (e.g., red, black), it is possible that some of the color will be transferred to your teeth (non-permanent).
Can you match certain colors, if we provide you with the specifications?
We will make every attempt to closely match the colors you have provided to us (via color or fabric swatches). Generally, we can match or come very close to the desired color. However, as we are dealing with food products, small variations may occur.
Will each cookie look exactly the same?
Due to the hand-made nature of this cookie product, there may be slight variations in color and design. Each cookie is unique!
What cookie shapes do you have available?
Countless cookie shapes are available, beyond what you see on this website. If you have a specific shape or theme in mind, please contact us to discuss your vision. The possibilities are limitless and we enjoy creating cookies that are truly customized for your needs. We have over 450 different cookie cutters, and will also occasionally create cookie cutters for custom orders.
Have customers used your cookies as favors for weddings or corporate events?
Yes! Since we are able to customize our cookies to match virtually any event, our cookies are very popular as favors or giveaways at a variety of events, including weddings, rehearsal dinners, out-of-town guests or conference attendees, and corporate retreats or events.
How are the cookies packaged?
Our cookies are beautifully hand-packaged in clear plastic bags, tied with a 5/8" satin ribbon that coordinates with the colors of your cookie package. Our packaging adds another personal, hand-crafted touch to your custom cookie order, and, helps to maintain the freshness of the cookie.
If we provide specific packaging (e.g., specialized ribbons, bags, boxes) for each cookie, will you use that packaging instead?
We are happy to utilize specific packaging for your order. Depending on whether assembly (e.g., favor boxes) or special handling is needed, an additional packaging fee may apply. All special packaging must be received two weeks prior to the delivery or pickup date for the cookies, in order to ensure all materials are present for the order. Special bags and boxes must be discussed with Sabrina's Sweetery in advance, in order to ensure the cookies will fit inside the desired packaging.
Are you able to place tags (e.g., Thank You, Happy Birthday) on each bagged cookie?
We are happy to place personalized tags on each bag, and an additional packaging fee of $0.25 per cookie will apply. The personalized tags must be received two weeks prior to the delivery or pickup date for the cookies. If desired, for a design fee, we can also help you custom-design and print a tag for your event.
How soon do I need to place an order?
We request a minimum of two weeks for placing an order. For more than 100 cookies, it is recommended to provide as much lead time as possible in order to reserve a space on our baking calendar. We do accept a limited number of custom orders each week, so please contact us as soon as you have a need for our custom cookies.
Do you offer rush orders and/or delivery?
We want your event to be as special as you do. We will do our best to accommodate orders placed under the standard two-week lead time, however, a rush order fee may apply. Please contact us if you have a rush order, and we will work with you to try to accommodate your request.
Do you deliver?
Delivery is available, however, additional charges will apply. You may also pick up your cookies from our kitchen's location in Alhambra. Since we are not open as a "walk-in" storefront, please coordinate with Sabrina's Sweetery to arrange a specific pickup time for your order.
Do you ship?
At this time, we do not ship orders and our cookies are only available in the Southern California area. However, some of our customers have chosen to pick up their orders locally, then transport or ship them to their ultimate locations (e.g., a destination wedding).
Do you have a minimum order amount?
Our minimum order is two dozen cookies.
How much are your cookies?
Our custom cookie orders start at $3.50 per cookie. Prices may increase from that point, based on the size and design of the cookie, and most cookies are generally between $4-5 per cookie. For a custom cookie quote, please e-mail

with the following details: design idea, quantity needed, and the date the cookies are needed. If available, please include any attachments (e.g., invitation, logos, photos) that may help us in generating a quote for your custom order.
When do I need to pay for the cookies?
For orders under $200, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit two weeks before the pick-up/delivery date, and the remainder of the payment upon pickup or delivery. For orders that are more than $200, the order must be paid in full at least two weeks before the pickup/delivery date. If the order is placed with less than two weeks of lead time, Sabrina's Sweetery will work with you to determine how to coordinate payment for your order.
When is my order confirmed?
Your order is considered "confirmed" when we have received all of the required information and the necessary advance deposit. We will also provide you with an estimate in advance, detailing the information for your order. Once you receive this estimate, your order is considered "confirmed."
What are your payment options?
Currently, we accept cash, checks, and PayPal as payment. In the future, we also plan to accept credit cards.
My child loves Little Nemo and Wall-E, may I have cookies like them?
Unfortunately, due to copyright and trademark laws we are unable to create any items that resemble an object with a trademark or copyright without written consent from the copyright or trademark holder. We may be able to obtain limited permission from certain companies, colleges, and sports teams to utilize their logos, so please contact us if you have a specific design in mind.
If we cannot use a specific character or logo, we are happy to work with you to create beautiful and unique designs that will coordinate with any theme you might desire, such as providing ocean or beach-themed cookies for a Nemo party.
What happens if I need to cancel my order?
We understand that your plans may change, and will be as flexible as possible. In the majority of cases, any deposit paid is non-refundable. Please contact us immediately to discuss your situation.
